Compaction device of adsorption tower of RICH Shanghai’s PSA air separation equipment patent granted

August 14th, good news came from Shanghai RICH GAS Equipment Co., Ltd: the practical and new patent application of PSA air separation equipment’s adsorption tower’s molecular sieve compaction device on Sep 24th, 2008 has won the approval of National intellectual property rights Bureau and acquired patent certificate on August 14th. The acquirement of this patent means a lot for the safe&stable running of RICH’s equipment and the guarantee of capacity&purity stability of product gases.?

Following the mature of technological conditions, the PSA air separation equipment that RICH makes shows a tendency of large size. While as the size of equipment gets larger, it is more and more difficult for traditional cylinder compaction device to press the molecular sieve inside adsorption tower tight because of the condensibility of gas, which leads to molecular sieve pulsation and results in capacity reduction and unstable purity of product gas. In view of these problems, Shanghai RICH independently designed a molecular sieve compaction device last year. This practical technolgy connects a non-return type oil cyliner to the upper part of the tradtional gas cylinder with a piston rod. And by making use of the un-condensibility of hydraulic oil, the dynamical stable compaction of molecular sieve is guaranteed.
This compaction device mainly has two parts: one is to use compressed air in adsorption towers to dynamically presse carbon molecular sieve tight. That is to say. Once molecular sieve sinks, cylinder will make compensative movement so as to drive the piston of oil cylinder to move downwards while the excellent function of non-return oil cylinder ensures molecular sieve inside adsorption towers to be pressed tight always so that the intensive movement of molecular sieve is prevented and the stability of product gas capacity and purity is guaranteed;?the other is to utilize limit switch for controlling the position of piston so as to control the working travel of cylinder for warning and equipment shutdown, which guarantees the safe and stable running of equipment.?The application of this practical technology in our equipment greatly improves its safety performance and its advantage enables us to succeed in the intensive competition of counterparts.?
