CMS is one kind of non-metering compound and its main performance is based on the micro-hole structure2) The air separation capacity of CMS relies on the different speeds of diffusion of gas passing CMS micro-hole and/or different adsorbabilities3) Under balanced condition, the adsorption amount of CMS to oxygen and nitrogen is very close, while the speed of oxygen molecule passing through the micro-hole structure is much faster than the speed of nitrogen molecule4) This principle is the base of CMS nitrogen generation. At the moment far before the balanced condition occurs, using PSA process flow, nitrogen is separated out form air
