PSA Nitrogen Generator Technology
 
The Whole name of PSA is Pressure Swing Adsorption. This is the one of technology to separate gas nitrogen from air. The detail of PSA technology is this:

Oxygen's molecule is smaller than nitrogen's molecule, So under the certain pressure when they both through the tank which is full of carbon molecular sieve (CMS), the Oxygen molecule will be adsorbed by the CMS. Why does it happen? Because there is a lot of hole on the surface of the carbon molecule. The hole is just bigger than Oxygen molecule, smaller than nitrogen molecule. According to the pressure,the Oxygen molecule will be pushed to the hole of carbon molecule. Then the nitrogen pass through the tank. Finally the purity nitrogen will be produced.This is processing of PSA nitrogen generator.
